Today we honored the Blessed Mother Mary in a traditional May Crowning Ceremony. May Crowning recognizes Mary as Queen of heaven and earth. Pre-K through 8th grade processed up the aisle and presented Mary with flowers. Second graders led the ceremony with readings and prayer. Harper Brockhoeft, Evelyn Bergeron, Cadence Scheidt, and Daniel Ezekwudo were honored to carry and place the crown upon Mary's head. #sacredheartproud #HeartOfBatonRouge #maycrowning
