The Mother Seton Award is presented annually by each school in the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge and honors those individuals whose volunteer service and dedication have been worthy of recognition and who emulate the qualities of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. This year we are proud to announce that Katie Bodin is the Mother Seton Award recipient for Sacred Heart of Jesus School! Katie is the mother of Eliza and Joseph Bodin and has been volunteering with the Home & School Association for 9 years! Through her efforts, she has raised 100’s of thousands of dollars and recruited numerous parents to help in many different capacities. She’s held several roles, including room parent, teacher appreciation chair, auction chair, fall fest committee, secretary, vice president, president, and past president of our Home & School Association. Her dedication to Sacred Heart is apparent in the countless hours that she has given to our school. We are very thankful for her commitment to the Sacred Heart community. Katie will be honored at the Mother Seton awards luncheon in April. #sacredheartproud #motherseton
