Advisory Board

The purpose of the Advisory Board is to support and advise the Pastor and the Principal in the administration of Sacred Heart of Jesus School.  The Board is consultative in that the members cannot act apart from the Pastor and Principal and cannot make decisions binding on Sacred Heart of Jesus School without the approval of the Pastor and Principal.  The Advisory Board is comprised of the Pastor, the Principal, six members elected for three-year terms, three additional members appointed by the Pastor for three-year terms, and the immediate past-president, along with ex-officio members appointed by the Pastor, such as the Home and School Association officers. The Sacred Heart School Advisory Board meets every third Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the School Library. The Advisory Board has several committees which assist the Administration and School in areas such as finance, planning, policy development and formulation, communication, and health and wellness.
