Early Learning (Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten)
Learning experiences in ELC (Early Learning Center) provide developmentally appropriate instruction, literacy-based and language-rich activities, and number awareness exploration. Content and skills are taught/learned in the disciplines of spirituality, language and literacy, social living, personal development, science, number sense, and fine motor and gross motor skills.
The daily schedule is divided into
- Student-initiated activities (centers, free play, creativity activities)
- Teacher-initiated activity (direct instruction, guided practice, small group instruction, exploration and discovery experiences)
- Rest and quiet activities
- Lunch, snack, restroom.
