Early Learning (Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten)

Learning experiences in ELC (Early Learning Center) provide developmentally appropriate instruction, literacy-based and language-rich activities, and number awareness exploration. Content and skills are taught/learned in the disciplines of spirituality, language and literacy, social living, personal development, science, number sense, and fine motor and gross motor skills.

The daily schedule is divided into

  1. Student-initiated activities (centers, free play, creativity activities)
  2. Teacher-initiated activity (direct instruction, guided practice, small group instruction, exploration and discovery experiences)
  3. Rest and quiet activities
  4. Lunch, snack, restroom.
