LA Young Reader’s Choice

Sacred Heart of Jesus School students in grades 3-8 annually participate in the Louisiana Young Readers’ Choice Awards, a program sponsored by the State Library of Louisiana. Students may participate in the program and vote for their favorite book by reading three or more books from the list of nominees on the ballot. Voting will take place at school in January. According to the State Library of Louisiana, “the purpose of the program is to foster a love of reading in the children of Louisiana by motivating them to participate in the recognition of outstanding books.
